Dr. Ashok Bhanage is a Senior Neurosurgeon who is the Chairman of Cancer Centre and Director & Head of Neurosurgery and Radiosurgery Departments.Dr Bhanage qualified as a Neurosurgeon from University of Bombay in 1984, He has performed more than 30,000 major Neuro surgeries to date.
Neuro Oncology has been his principal area of interest. He was responsible for setting up the Cancer Centre and the Radiosurgery Unit for treatment of Brain Tumors with X-knife and has gained considerable reputation for excellent results.
He is a postgraduate teacher in Neurosurgery with good number of articles and presentations.
